Since 1998, ArcTron 3D GmbH has been developing an excavation database within MicroSoft Access, which includes a comprehensive project and finding management, a finds book with first scientific denominations and an image management for the systematic recording of archaeological excavation data. All descriptions in ground levels or sections can also be managed within the database. The description forms have been developed according to archaeological-geological criteria. Different pre-set report generators allow a quick print-out of details or extensive data sets.

The system is deployed as standard excavation database in Baden-Württemberg and Westfalen.

ArchaeoDATA 5.6 provides you with a complete excavation management for archaeology.

ArchaeoDATA is for beginners and advanced users. Archaeological standard work like printing find sheets, recording finds and findings or drawing and image management as well as reports and print-outs are easily carried out in standardized steps.

ArchaeoDATA 5.6 has been developed as an application for MicroSoft Access 2002. However, using a so-called runtime-module (included), it also runs without Access. Nonetheless, the programme works most comprehensively if combined with MS Access 2002 (or a later version).
